Eleven years ago, I never imagined I'd own a boutique.

It all started because my best friend mailed me four pieces of clothing: an Amelia dress, a Randy, a pair of leggings, and a Perfect Tee. I had four kids at the time, and after opening that package and trying everything on, I remember looking in the mirror and thinking, I finally feel like me again.

The clothes were comfortable, flattering, and didn't cling in all the places I was insecure about after having children. For the first time in a long time, getting dressed made me feel confident instead of discouraged.

I immediately called my best friend and asked, "How do I do this too?"

She showed me how to become an independent retailer, purchase wholesale, and sell retail. From there, I learned everything else on my own.

I packed my very first orders from my dining room table with a crawling baby, Alexander, nearby. Every shipment, every inventory order, every live sale, every website update, every mistake, and every lesson was something I figured out one step at a time. I didn't have experience — I just had a dream and a willingness to keep showing up.

What started as a small dream in January 2016 has grown into something I could have never imagined. Together, we've sold more than $4 million in clothing, but the numbers aren't what I'm most proud of.

I'm proud that this business allowed me to provide for my children. I'm proud that it gave me independence. And most of all, I'm proud of the incredible community we've built.

The Selvaggio Squad isn't just a customer base — it's family.

These women have watched my children grow up, and they've watched me grow too. They've celebrated life's biggest milestones with me, stood beside me through heartbreak, cheered me on during victories, and reminded me why I love showing up every single day.

There are still moments when I buy something for my kids and think, our community made this possible. That feeling never goes away, and I hope it never does.

When I shop for the boutique, I have one goal: I want women to feel the way I felt when I opened that very first package. Comfortable. Confident. Beautiful. Like the best version of themselves.

You'll hear me say things like, "You need this!" or "Queen energy!" because I truly believe every woman deserves to feel amazing in her clothes.
